This area is commonly referred to as the golden crescent, which connects Callicoon, Jeffersonville, Livingston Manor and all the smaller villages in between. Sullivan west has a very sofisticated community, but mantains the rural aspect of life in the country.
For it's proximity from the city, less than two hours from Manhattan, has attracted many young families who care profundly by the enviroment and the local community. It has a fairly large gay population who lives well in harmony with it's neigboors and great number of very talented artists.
It is a place where you can find great shops as well fabulous restaurants and yet you can also go fishing, golfing, horseback riding or even just a good, beautiful hike.
Together with Bridle Hill Farm, located only 5 miles away gives guests the opportunity to enjoy a day of trail rides or individual lessons, English or Western style of riding.
